Contact Active Outings

For enquiries, privacy questions or concerns, contact Benjamin at [email protected].

Your enquiry

The form asks for your name and email address, your choice of outing and whether you are enquiring for a group or yourself. You can also choose to provide a phone number, group details, preferred timing and a message. Submitting the form sends these details through Cloudflare to the Active Outings Google Workspace mailbox. We use them to reply and help plan your outing. An enquiry does not create a booking, take payment or subscribe you to marketing.

Please share only information you are comfortable sending by email. If you are enquiring for someone else, make sure you have their permission to share their details. Please do not include detailed medical information.

Delivery and storage

Cloudflare processes the form submission and delivers it as email; Google Workspace holds the enquiry and our replies in the business mailbox. The website does not keep a separate enquiry database or save your entries in browser storage. If sending fails, your entries remain in the open form so you can try again. If you save a text copy, that file is stored on your device.

Cloudflare and Google operate internationally, so information may be processed outside Australia. Their handling of information is described in Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s data processing terms.

Keeping your information

We keep enquiry correspondence while it is needed to respond, follow up and manage arrangements with you, and for any applicable record-keeping obligations. We remove information when it is no longer needed. Copies in service-provider backups may take longer to be removed under those providers’ processes.

Access, correction and deletion

Email Benjamin to ask what enquiry information we hold, correct a mistake, request deletion or raise a privacy concern. We may need to confirm your identity before sharing or changing information. If we need to retain a record, we will explain why.

Cookies and technical information

This website has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, external fonts or embedded social feeds. Cloudflare uses technical information, including your IP address, to deliver and protect the enquiry service and limit repeated submissions. Cloudflare and Google may retain service and security logs under their own policies.

The public enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check for automated submissions. This processes technical information from your browser and device to help prevent spam.

Photography and illustrations

Photographs support the description of an experience. Images showing a general theme, rather than the actual venue, are identified in the outing-page captions and credits below. Coming soon images do not confirm a route, itinerary or inclusion. For a question about an image or credit, email Benjamin.
